I am a big fan of Colleen Hoover already so ‘Confess’ already had high expectations and i was so happy that it didn’t disappoint me. What I liked most about Confess was the tone and how this made me feel as a reader. Thinking back on the story….. it was quite sad throughout. Both Auburn and Owen’s past had been very sad which they then carried with them years later. Poor Auburn had so many constraints that she couldn’t break from and I could really feel her frustration! I also felt frustrated at Owen because he had a lot of secrets that i wanted to know about them straight away. Both the characters were very similar in the way they acted closed off and how they were both very selfless. They both sacrificed their own happiness to make others happy. It was very easy to judge all of the characters in the book before actually getting to know them all-this defiantly applies to Owen, his father and also Trey as well.
I would recommend this to Colleen Hoover fans, and I think would suit anyone really.
