This is my first R.L Griffin book and I defiantly don’t think it will be my last. My rating was very close to four stars but the main reason I didn’t was due to how long it took me to read it. If I read a book in one evening and have a feeling of despair or longing afterwards then I know it has been worthy of 4 or 5. However with Sunshine & Whiskey I wanted to finish it so I could start another one……..
BUT this but was hilarious, it had me laughing out loud and smiling from ear to ear at the fun of it all. I am so jealous of the best friends relationship and how both crude and crass their behaviour with each other is, but also how strong and empowering it is. This is a light hearted and comical story, maybe something to read in between some hard hitting emotional stuff.
It took me a while to read, as I genuinely forgot which is unlike me but I am still glad I came across it. I will be checking out her other stuff.
